RARE find! Historic log cabin built in 1902 in downtown Wausau on almost a half acre enclosed in mature trees. This historic cabin was built to house the Philosopher Press which was the first printing company owned by a woman in the U.S. Helen Bruneau Van Vechten owned the book and magazine company with her husband Philip V.o. Van Vechten and another business man, William Ellis. Helen Van Vechten made a discovery which revolutionized the process of hand printing.
