Last year over 300 caring people (mostly women!) had a great time bidding on silent and live auction items ranging from clothing to jewelry to vacations and so much more to benefit the Joyce Bytof Scholarship Fund through the American Cancer Society. This fund helps young people from the Fox Valley who have dreams of attending college. Unfortunately, these kids' dreams are at risk because their battle with cancer has caused them and their family’s financial hardship. We knew we could count on area women to snag a good bargain while doing something important for kids with cancer. We were right! Thanks to the generosity of those who joined in the fun, more than $170,000 has been raised at the past three Shopping for Scholarships events. With your help, we aim to raise $60,000 to add to the Joyce & Otto Bytof Youth Scholarship Fund to help more promising brave, young people. Please consider donating a theme basket to add to the variety and selection of items that make this event so much fun. Listed below are some of the popular themes from last year:

Please be sure your basket and this form are delivered to The Real Estate Group – Coldwell Banker corporate office at 5355 Schroth Lane, no later than June 4, 2012. While we will gladly accept donations after that date, we will need your basket and form by June 4, 2012 in order to recognize your donation in the event program. Depending upon the number of baskets and the donated items, we may combine or divide items to ensure brisk sales!
