Ottawa: Listen to Music in the Park

Looking for new ways to enjoy the warm weather this summer? Ottawa's Music in the Park lineup might be just what you need to fill your weekend evenings. The Event

Music in the Park is part of Friendship Days, Ottawa's yearly initiative to promote community spirit in the warm summer months. The city's Special Events Committee has been running this free concert series for many years in different locations. This year, the bands will play in the historic Washington Square Park, a beautiful green space near our Ottawa homes for sale. 

The concert series will take place between June 25 and August 27. Each week on Saturday, one of Ottawa's best local bands will play a set of tunes from 6 PM to 8 PM. Admission is free, and there are no queues or waiting areas – anyone who wants to attend is welcome to walk up and take a seat under the trees.

The Schedule 

Music in the Park is an excellent showcase for talented local artists. The lineup covers a range of different musical periods and genres, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy. Many of the headliners are returning favorites from previous years.

Enjoying Food and Friends

Music in the Park is more than just stellar concert-style entertainment. It also provides a great opportunity to socialize with your friends, family, and neighbors.

The Special Events Committee has also partnered with the city's food truck vendors to make delicious local cuisine available on-site during each show. A new food truck will be on the scene at the park every week, so people who return for multiple performances can also enjoy sampling dishes from several different vendors.
