A Truly Unique Museum Experience
As the name suggests, the History Museum at the Castle is far from your average history museum. Start with the museum building located near Appleton homes for sale, which very much resembles a medieval castle designed in the Norman Revival style, with beautiful stonework, vaulted ceilings, and leaded glass windows. The building served as a Masonic temple from the time it was built in 1923 until it was purchased by the museum in the 1980s.
Over the years, we have seen a lot of lovely New London homes for sale. Many of them have been decorated with antiques. Other times, the dining room was decorated with antique dishes and dinnerware. We have a theory as to why this is so popular in New London: the area has a lot of great antique stores.
