Over the years, we have seen a lot of lovely New London homes for sale. Many of them have been decorated with antiques. Other times, the dining room was decorated with antique dishes and dinnerware. We have a theory as to why this is so popular in New London: the area has a lot of great antique stores.

The Vintage Shop Hop took place earlier this month, introducing residents to many of the area's best shops. While the Shop Hop is over, our real estate agents still recommend visiting the following antique stores.

  • Water Street Vintage: 207 W. North Water St., New London, WI 54961
Water Street Vintage is a large shop that features two full floors of antiques housed in a historic building. You'll find everything from antique dinnerware, to antique furniture, to vintage jewelry.

Water Street Vintage is open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm and on Sundays from 11 am - 4 pm. The booths inside are operated by more than 50 vendors, so the selection changes often.

  • Olde Country Store Antiques: E6690 State Hwy. 54, New London, WI 54961
    Olde Country Store Antiques
is a friendly and welcoming antique store that will give you that old-fashioned feel. The shop is full of vintage knick-knacks, pillows, decor, and dishes. In the fall, entire sections of the shop are dedicated to autumn decor.

Olde Country Store Antiques often serves local coffee and other snacks to customers. Enjoy a snack and sip while you browse their vintage decor.

  • Weathered Vintage: 633 E. Hyland Ave. Suite A, Kaukauna, WI 54130
If you're willing to take a little drive out to Kaukauna, Weathered Village is a lovely antique store to visit. This veteran-owned store sells a lot of vintage furniture from various eras. If you're furnishing your new home, this is the place to shop.

Weathered Vintage also sells lots of lovely china, tea sets, and dining sets. They are open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 am - 6 pm, so plan accordingly.

  • Neenah Vintage Mall: 884 S. Commercial St., Neenah, WI 54956
    Neenah Vintage Mall
is one of the largest vintage stores in the area. They have more than 25,000 square feet of shopping, all under one roof. A variety of vendors rent space in the facility, so there's always something new to check out. Shop for collectibles, crafts, china, vintage apparel, furniture, and more.

Neenah Vintage Mall even has a clearance area in the building's annex. They're open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 6 pm.

  • Vintage Plus the Mercantile: N2540 County Rd. QQ, Waupaca, WI 54946
    Vintage Plus the Mercantile
is a smaller antique store than many on this list, but it's still well worth visiting. There are about 15 separate vendors who sell vintage and antique items inside the shop. They have a good selection of decor and furniture, but also some more offbeat things like vintage comic books.

Vintage Plus the Mercantile also sells books by local authors and several other gift-type items. They always decorate for the changing seasons and holidays, so the space looks different with every visit.

We hope you find the furniture and decor you're dreaming of. If you're still looking for a new home to decorate, our New London real estate agents would be happy to help. Contact us, and our agents will help you find the perfect home for you to decorate.
