Hi, I’m Karla Shepherd. Welcome to my website!
FAMILY
I am a lifelong resident of Kosciusko County. I grew up on my family’s farm just north of
Leesburg. In 2017, my husband and I built our home on the same farm, just half a mile up the
road. It’s a privilege to be able to raise our 3 boys on the land that holds such memories for
me. When I'm not working with clients, I’m a Kosciusko County 4-H volunteer and I spend
most of my time at sporting events for my children or in the barn working with my family on
4-H projects.
EDUCATION
I received my B.A. in Elementary Education from Purdue University. I spent about ten years
teaching grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. I loved being a teacher and impacting the
lives of our local youth. Then, after my third son was born, I decided it was time to join the
family business, The Sally Bailey Team!
ROOTS IN REAL ESTATE
Both of my parents and my sister are active in the real estate industry. I love working with
my sister, Angie, and mom, Sally on The Sally Bailey Team. You can't beat working with
and having the support of family. Ours just happens to have 35 years of real estate
expertise on one team! All three of us are natives of Indiana and the Kosciusko County
region.
